December marks the final chapter of this 7-month chakra exploration series. It’s also the end of the year and end of the decade. This time of year offers the opportunity to reflect on where we’ve come from and what we want to take with us into the future. The Crown Chakra represents our closest connection to the divine so it’s the perfect springboard for our New Year manifestations.
A Lighthearted Approach
Looking over my recommendations for connecting with the Crown Chakra this month, the one that resonated most was to seek joy in every situation. Perhaps affected by the sentimentality of the season, I feel strongly that all I really want more of in life is ease. The ease that comes with a lighthearted and loving approach to everything. It’s what stems naturally from joy and what people talk about when they’re “in the flow.”
It’s fitting that only the most casual of mindsets has allowed me to stick with writing this blog weekly for an entire year. Excuse me while I indulge in a small moment of self-recognition for this quiet accomplishment. I proved to myself that I can stick to something with only myself holding me accountable.
By framing this work as a creative exercise, a fun pastime, and an inconsequential hobby, I was able to circumvent the barrier of perfection. Taking a lighthearted approach to this blog is what allowed me to actually put it out there.
Stepping into a new year and new decade, it’s impossible to know what the future has in store. In the face of this uncertainty, we can find assurance through outlining the values that we’ll adhere to. Freedom and fun are at the top of my list. As is the pursuit of new knowledge and adopting a more long-term approach to planning. These are just a few of the mindsets I’ll be manifesting within the next year.
Crown Chakra Takeaway
The Crown Chakra is all about accessing the divine, which at its root is love in the purest form. This holiday season, recognise that you are a manifestation of love and therefore so is your life and everything positive that you surround yourself with.
